Come hang out with us.

Come to at least two events so we can get to know you and you can meet some of us. Opportunities include:

Meal before each regular meeting on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month from 7-7:30 pm or until the meeting starts.

Game Days on the 3rd Saturday of every month from 2-5 pm.

Socials as noted on our Facebook page or on the events page of our website.

Find a sponsor

If you know a current member of Dallas IOOF Lodge #44, great! That person can be your sponsor.

If you know someone at another Lodge, ask them to be your sponsor.

If you don't know anyone, just make a friend at one of our events. Tell them a bit about yourself and why you are interested in becoming a member. And ask them if they'll be your sponsor.

Submit an application

Download this form and mail it or deliver it in person at one of the above events.

What happens next?

1.   Your sponsor will introduce your application at a regular meeting.

2.   You will be contacted by one or more members of the interviewing committee. They will ask you important and mysterious questions and answer any questions you may have.

3.   At the next regular meeting, the interviewing committee will report on your interview and whether you have the special qualities that make a person a good candidate for initiation into Odd Fellowship.

4.   Lodge members vote on whether you should/should not be a member of Dallas IOOF Lodge #44.

5.  If voted favorably, your sponsor will keep in touch with details about initiation. After the initiatory degree, you will learn some of the secrets of our order and welcomed into our membership. We encourage you to partake in further degrees to learn about key principles and acquire all the privileges of being an Odd Fellow.

By being an Odd Fellow you get to be a member of one of the world’s oldest and largest fraternal orders.  rituals, symbols, and degrees are designed to “elevate and improve the character of mankind.”  by taking these lessons to heart you become a better person and in turn help to make the world around you a better place.
